Terms of Service

HatchingEggs.store ("we," "us," or "the Platform") is an online marketplace that connects independent sellers of hatching eggs with buyers across the United States. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. By using HatchingEggs.store you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States to create an account or make a purchase. By registering you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at degidiochris@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

Sellers may list hatching eggs for poultry species including but not limited to chickens, ducks, turkeys, guinea fowl, quail, and peafowl.

Sellers may not list eggs from species that are federally protected, require a special permit to possess, or are otherwise prohibited from interstate sale.

Hatching eggs are a perishable agricultural product. Hatch rates are inherently variable and are affected by factors outside the seller's control including shipping conditions, the buyer's incubator equipment and management practices, and natural biological variation.

Purchasing hatching eggs does not guarantee any specific hatch rate. A 50–70% hatch rate from shipped eggs is considered normal. Buyers acknowledge this risk before completing a purchase.

If eggs arrive visibly damaged (cracked shells, leaking, crushed packaging), buyers should photograph the damage immediately and contact the seller within 48 hours of delivery.

The Platform charges sellers a fee on each completed transaction. This fee is deducted automatically at the time of payout through Stripe Connect. The standard fee is 10% of the order subtotal, excluding shipping. Individual seller fee rates may differ and are disclosed in the seller's dashboard. Buyers are not charged a platform fee.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Buyers' card details are never stored on our servers. Sellers receive payouts to their linked bank account according to Stripe's standard payout schedule after the platform fee is deducted.

All sales are final unless the seller's listing states otherwise or a return/refund has been agreed between the buyer and seller. The Platform may, at its sole discretion, facilitate dispute resolution but is not obligated to issue refunds.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension and, where applicable, reporting to law enforcement.

All content you upload to HatchingEggs.store (photos, descriptions, etc.) remains your property. By uploading it you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Platform for the purpose of fulfilling your listings. We will never sell your content to third parties.

HatchingEggs.store is a marketplace platform only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

Our total liability to any user for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount of fees you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) $50.

We encourage buyers and sellers to resolve disputes directly and in good faith. You may open a support ticket through your account for assistance. The Platform's decision on any dispute is final.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any conduct we deem harmful to the Platform or its users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Your State], United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Your County], [Your State].

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
